Hayley Kropp has signed her National Letter of Intent to play basketball for the Cobras next season, head coach Shannon Johnson announced today.
Kropp comes to Coker after one year at Guilford Technical Community College where she was an All-Region selection. She played her high school softball and basketball for the Polk County Wolverines, and was a very successful multi-sport athlete. On the hardwood, she was a four-time all-conference selection. She was also a two-time Times News Player of the Year, averaging 25.0 points per game her senior season. She is the all-time leading scorer in Polk County High School history, with 1,608 career points. In 2016, she was the Western Highlands Conference Player of the Year.
"Hayley has an IQ for the game that will help us on both ends of the floor," said Johnson. We are excited about her ability to shoot the basketball and the impact she can have on our program,".
The Columbus, N.C. native is the daughter of Teresa and Karl Kropp and plans to study physical education.
Kropp joins Johnson's 2017-18 recruiting class at Coker.
