Darlington County Cancer Support Group Cornerstone Baptist Church, 408 Coker Avenue, will host the Darlington County Cancer Support Group meeting on March 13th beginning at 7 p.m. All cancers survivors, their family and friends, and anyone interested in cancer support are invited to join.

Women History Month Event The Women in History Group would like for everyone to come join in the celebration. A first time ever in SC, one time performance only in Hartsville, on Sunday, March 18th at the Center Theatre, 212, North Fifth Street. The female re-enactors of Distinction (Freed) use drama and storytelling to bring life’s untold stories of struggle, strength, and success of African American women who contributed to our history. The performance is free and open to the public.

New Market UMC Fish Fry New Market UMC, 1921 West Old Camden Road will be having their Annual Spring Fish Fry on Friday, March 23rd from 11 a.m-7 p.m. Eat in, take out or delivery for orders of 5 or more plates. Democratic Women’s Council of Darlington County The Democratic Women’s Council of Darlington County will host its First Annual Women’s History Month Luncheon on Saturday, March 10th, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at The Hartsville Country Club, 116 Golf Course Road. Keynote speaker will be Marguerite Willis, Democratic Candidate for Governor of SC. Hartsville Farmers Market Hartsville Farmers Market, 100 East Carolina Ave. will start up on April 14th from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The Market features wholesome, homegrown and handmade unique items, gifts, plus activities for the kids. This is a free event, so everyone come out and enjoy our Hartsville Farmers Market.

Community Easter Eggstravaganza City of Hartsville and Coker College will be hosting Community Easter Eggstravaganza on March 17th from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at 300 East College Ave. Rain location will be at the Coach T.B. Thomas Sports Center, 701 West Washington St. Egg hunts for ages 4 and under will begin 10:30 a.m., ages 5-8 at 11 a.m., and ages 9 and over at 11:30 a.m. Come out and enjoy the community fun.  

Burry Bookworms Come join the Burry Bookworms every second Saturday at 11 a.m. in Downtown Hartsville. Free for ages 0-8.

Alzheimer Caregiver’s Support Group Alzheimer Caregiver’s Support Group meeting will be held the first Tuesday of each month at St. Bartholomew Church located at 103 Campus Drive, Hartsville. Hartsville Toastmasters meetings The Hartsville Toastmasters meet every second and fourth Monday at 7 p.m. at the Black Creek Arts Council building at 116 West College Avenue, Hartsville. Toastmasters International is a non-profit club specializing in the improvement of leadership and speaking skills in a controlled, constructive setting. Guests are welcome and admission is free.
