Business to raise funds for injured musician ~ Mac’s Lounge hosts fundraiser for Justin Anderson

On April 15, 2017, Mac’s Lounge will be hosting a benefit concert for Justin Anderson, a local musician seriously injured in a car accident on March 9. The concert will feature Jacob Bryant, with special musical guests, Trey Davis, Brandon Bailey, Kendall Skinner, and Lucas Gathings. Mac’s Lounge has partnered with Classic Carolina clothing and other local vendors to raffle items and a portion of ticket sales and drink specials will go toward the cause.

Anderson, a McBee, SC native, is a self-employed singer-songwriter who has performed at venues across the state and has previously been the front man for Outshyne and The Justin Anderson Band. Anderson is fully expected to recover from his injuries, including a shattered left arm, but he does not have health insurance. His injuries will keep him from performing for many months while he heals, which is why Jonathan Byrd, owner of Mac’s Lounge, is hosting the concert. “We can think of no better time than this to help our buddy out. Justin is a friend to Mac’s and has performed here numerous times. He’s got a lot of fans and we hope they will show their support during the benefit,” says Byrd.

The benefit concert at Mac’s Lounge, located at 115 Camden Avenue, will begin at 10 p.m. on April 15th. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased at Mac’s Lounge, Coast on Carolina, and online through PayPal at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
